Job Title: Communications Specialist at RMadillo Packaging

Join us to apply for the Communications Specialist role at RMadillo Packaging.

Location: Remote (with occasional UK travel)

Salary: £36,000 pro rata

Hours: 28-35 hours per week

The HR Booth is recruiting a Communications Specialist on behalf of Educational Competencies Consortium (ECC). We seek an experienced professional to craft and execute engaging communications that connect, inform, and inspire. ECC supports higher and further education institutions with expert advice and services, and your role will be pivotal in sharing that story.

This hands-on role requires a creative, digitally confident individual excited to lead end-to-end communications activities. You will collaborate across the organization to raise our profile, engage members, and demonstrate impact.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement a communications calendar aligned with strategic goals.
  2. Lead content delivery across email, newsletters, website, and social media.
  3. Create campaigns to promote ECC services, events, and success stories.
  4. Produce high-quality content (written, visual, and video) tailored to members and stakeholders.
  5. Manage ECC's web presence, making updates and optimizing content for clarity and accessibility.
  6. Monitor engagement metrics and campaign effectiveness.
  7. Use insights for data-driven strategy adjustments.
  8. Manage campaigns and communications using CRM and digital tools.
  9. Maintain organized content systems (SharePoint, CRM, website).
  10. Liaise with external suppliers and partners to support communication goals.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Proven track record in delivering audience-focused communication strategies.
  • Confidence in using email marketing, social media, and web platforms.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in video content creation and editing.
  • Creative, strategic thinker with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in managing digital content, campaign planning, and stakeholder engagement.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Relevant degree or 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience working with HR or education sector audiences.
  • Knowledge of AI tools supporting content development and routine tasks.
