Acushnet Europe Ltd., based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, is offering a Communications & PR Apprentice role. This 18-month apprenticeship leads to a Level 4 PR and Communications Assistant qualification through Cambridge Marketing College.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in PR, media relations, influencer engagement and internal/external communications. We’re seeking a graduate or undergraduate in Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism or related fields, with strong writing and communication

Responsibilities

• Create, edit and distribute press releases and other communications to media contacts, trade partners, ambassadors and influencers
• Support product seeding programmes and coordinate shipments to media and influencers
• Create and publish internal communications across SharePoint and other digital channels
• Help promote internal events and company updates
• Monitor media coverage and social media activity, support campaign reporting and analysis
• Provide general support to the Brand and Marketing team across projects, campaigns and events

Are you looking to kick-start your career in Marketing, PR and Communications?

We're looking for a Communications & PR Apprentice to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced marketing and brand professionals while gaining hands-on experience across PR, media relations, influencer engagement and internal/external communications. This apprenticeship programme will run for 18 months and will lead to a nationally recognised Level 4 PR and Communications Assistant qualification, equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree. The course will be facilitated by Cambridge Marketing College.

What You'll Be Doing

• Creating, editing and distributing press releases and other communications to media contacts, trade partners, ambassadors and influencers.
• Supporting product seeding programmes and coordinating shipments to media and influencers.

What We're Looking For

• A graduate or undergraduate studying Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism or a related subject would be preferred, although we'll also consider candidates with a genuine passion for communications and a desire to learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• An interest in social media, content creation, PR and influencer marketing.
• A positive attitude, enthusiasm to learn and willingness to get stuck in.
• Confidence working with Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms.
• An interest in golf would be advantageous, along with a curiosity about our brands, products and customers.
