Job summary

Acushnet Europe, based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, is seeking a Communications & PR Apprentice to learn from experienced professionals across PR, media relations, influencer engagement and internal/external communications.

You will gain hands-on experience while supporting campaigns, events and brand initiatives, with a focus on storytelling and effective communication across channels.

Qualifications

• Graduate or undergraduate studying Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism or related subject preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Interest in social media, content creation, PR and influencer marketing.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Confidence with Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms.
• Interest in golf advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit and distribute press releases and communications to media contacts, partners, ambassadors and influencers.
• Support product seeding programmes and coordinate shipments to media and influencers.
• Create and publish internal communications across SharePoint and other digital channels.
• Help promote internal events and company updates.
• Monitor media coverage and social media activity; support campaign reporting and analysis.
• Provide general support to the Brand and Marketing team on projects, campaigns and events.

We're looking for a Communications & PR Apprentice to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced marketing and brand professionals while gaining hands‑on experience across PR, media relations, influencer engagement and internal/external communications.

What You'll Be Doing

• Creating, editing and distributing press releases and other communications to media contacts, trade partners, ambassadors and influencers.
• Supporting product seeding programmes and coordinating shipments to media and influencers.
• Creating and publishing internal communications across SharePoint and other digital channels.
• Helping to promote internal events and company updates.
• Monitoring media coverage and social media activity, supporting campaign reporting and analysis.
• Providing general support to the wider Brand and Marketing team across projects, campaigns and events.

What We're Looking For

• A graduate or undergraduate studying Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism or a related subject would be preferred, although we'll also consider candidates with a genuine passion for communications and a desire to learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• An interest in social media, content creation, PR and influencer marketing.
• A positive attitude, enthusiasm to learn and willingness to get stuck in.
• Confidence working with Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms.
• An interest in golf would be advantageous, along with a curiosity about our brands, products and customers.
