Our products are #1 and what’s behind them is even better ……. our people.

We’re looking for a passionate and engaging Talent Acquisition Business Partner to help shape the future of our business here in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

This is an opportunity to do far more than fill vacancies. You’ll help attract exceptional talent, build future talent pipelines, strengthen our employer brand and partner with leaders to understand and meet our talent needs.

If you’re passionate about creating outstanding candidate experiences, influencing hiring decisions and bringing fresh ideas to talent attraction and recruitment, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience in an in‑house recruitment or talent acquisition environment.

Please note: this role will be predominately based on site and as such applicants should live within a commutable distance of our offices.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you’ll be the recruitment expert and trusted advisor to managers across the business, helping us identify, attract and secure the talent that will drive our future success.

You’ll:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across a variety of roles and departments using our Applicant Tracking System (Workday), to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing challenge and support on role requirements, benchmarking, hiring strategies and selection decisions, while ensuring all recruitment documentation is accurate, complete and compliant.
  • Partner with managers to understand current and future talent needs, using recruitment and market insight to help shape effective attraction and hiring approaches.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through to onboarding, building positive relationships and ensuring candidates feel informed, supported and engaged throughout the recruitment process.
  • Act as an ambassador for our employer brand, creating a positive and lasting impression of our business regardless of the recruitment outcome.
  • Champion inclusive recruitment practices and support our diversity and inclusion ambitions.
  • Build talent pipelines through apprenticeships, graduate programmes, industry partnerships and by developing relationships with talented individuals interested in future career opportunities with our business.
  • Bring new ideas and approaches to talent attraction, helping us continually improve how we reach and engage with candidates.
  • Represent the business at careers fairs, networking events and recruitment initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and suppliers.
What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a confident, proactive recruiter who enjoys building relationships, influencing stakeholders and looking beyond the immediate vacancy to understand the wider talent needs of the business.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment campaigns across a variety of roles and disciplines.
  • Previous in‑house recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers and senior leaders providing expert advice, guidance and constructive challenge throughout the recruitment process.
  • An understanding of talent attraction and recruitment market trends, with the ability to use insight to inform hiring approaches.
  • Strong knowledge of UK recruitment best practice, employment legislation and inclusive hiring principles.
  • Expertise in sourcing, attraction and candidate engagement strategies.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday desirable).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A passion for delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent practical experience in recruitment, HR, business or a related field.
Recruitment process

The recruitment process will begin with an initial screening call via Microsoft Teams during the first week of October, followed by two stages of face‑to‑face interviews at our site.
