Clarion Housing Group in London is seeking an experienced Communications Manager to lead our press office and corporate communications. The role focuses on shaping and protecting our reputation, delivering high-impact projects, and ensuring timely, accurate communications across the organisation.

You'll be the primary media contact, manage journalist relations, and oversee major reports while advising senior leaders on strategic messaging and risk management.

Location: Hybrid with London base location

Salary: £59,136 to £69,572 per annum

Hours: 36 hours per week

Are you an experienced communications professional with a talent for managing high-profile media relations and delivering impactful corporate communications?

We're looking for a Communications Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and protecting our reputation, leading our press office function and delivering key corporate communications projects across the organisation.

In this varied and highly visible role, you'll be the first point of contact for media enquiries, managing relationships with journalists and responding to issues at pace. You'll oversee the production of major corporate reports, including annual reporting, financial updates and significant organisational announcements, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

The successful candidate will bring substantial experience in corporate communications or public relations, ideally within the housing, charitable or wider public-facing sectors. You'll have a strong understanding of the media landscape, excellent writing and stakeholder management skills, and the confidence to advise and influence senior leaders. Experience managing complex projects, handling sensitive communications and developing compelling corporate narratives will be key to success.

This is a hybrid role with a base location at our offices in Camden, London. Candidates will be expected to work from the office at least 3 days per week.
