Job summary

Twinings is seeking a proactive communications professional to support the global communications strategy, crafting clear plans and outputs across press, media materials, and leadership messaging.

You will manage media relations, social content including LinkedIn, and crises, while partnering with global teams to ensure consistent messaging across brands and sustainability narratives.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate communications, PR, or a related field.
• Proven experience delivering communication plans, campaigns and working with media.
• Strong writing, editing and content development skills.
• Experience working with internal stakeholders and supporting cross-functional collaboration in a complex matrixed organisation.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a structured way.
• Experience working in a global or matrix organisation.
• Exposure to media relations and external communications.
• Knowledge of FMCG, sustainability or corporate communications topics, social media channels and how AI can support efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of the global communications strategy, translating direction into clear and effective communication plans and outputs.
• Develop and deliver content across multiple channels, including press releases, media materials, leadership communications and digital content, including LinkedIn
• Ensure consistent messaging across Twinings and Ovaltine brands, aligned to ethics, sustainability, wellness, innovation and heritage narratives.
• Manage day-to-day media relations and customer queries, including proactive outreach, enquiries, drafting responses and monitoring coverage.
• Build relationships with global functions and local market teams.
• Partner with Business Units and Functions to support local market activation.
• Support management of external agencies against objectives, timelines and budgets.
• Assist with crisis communications and issue management.
• Monitor and evaluate communication activity, providing insights and recommendations.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to deadlines.
• Manage the Global Twinings LinkedIn account and develop content for other global social channels.
