If you've got a foundation in writing great content for marketing, communications or PR but feeling limited in your company then this is a great opportunity to step into an established, professional and ambitious business and move your career forward. Working as part of a marketing team of c15 you'll have plenty of options for your career progression and will be given the support to develop. This role is communications focused; covering messaging to a range of audiences with a professional business focus. You could be producing content for internal colleagues one day, reviewing award submissions the next and editing a thought leadership piece for the business sector soon after. Your key skills will be in having excellent attention to detail, critical for proof reading, editing and writing. You'll also need an ability to think logically about the purpose of communications and how to adapt style, language and tone of voice to suit differing audiences.

About You:

• Experience in a communications or marketing role with an emphasis on creating written content.
• Understanding of additional communications channels and formats across audio and video.
• Driven to develop career as part of a multi-skilled marketing function.
• Ideally written for a b2b audience or professional market.
• Confident using initiative to shape language, challenge thinking and develop appropriate comms.
• Commutable of Leeds, Manchester or Liverpool locations.
• This could suit a PR Executive, Marketing Assistant or Internal Comms Officer or similar with a few years experience ready to step up.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Writing, proofing and editing communications across multiple channels.
• Working with external agencies to lead and shape content they produce.
• Producing and distributing internal communications.
• Identifying opportunities for award submissions and exposure in the business community.
• Leading additional content channels including podcasts, video and more.

Where You'll Be Based:

With great flexibility and multiple offices across the North if you're anywhere near the M62 corridor you should be able to reach one of their offices. The core bases are in Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool and you can be based out of any of these on your 2 days a week in the office. The remainder of the time you free to work from home or wherever suits you best.
