Social Media Manager: (Islamic Digital Marketing Agency, Remote within the UK)

Location: Remote within UK with travel to Bradford for meetings

Civitas Recruitment is working with a creative digital marketing agency focusing on the third sector and values-based organisations. They have successfully increased donations and website traffic for charities through impactful digital strategies, creative campaigns, and go-to-market plans. An exciting opportunity exists for a Social Media Manager to develop and execute creative social media strategies, especially on TikTok, to engage online communities and foster brand loyalty. This is a full-time, permanent role, home-based within the UK, with meetings in Bradford every fortnight.

Who are we looking for?

Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of social media experience, preferably in an agency or in-house at a brand. Candidates should be TikTok enthusiasts, familiar with platform trends, storytelling, and viral marketing. Strong knowledge of social media algorithms, analytics, and content strategies is essential. Experience with short-form video content creation, using tools like CapCut or similar, is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a passion for culturally inclusive marketing, engaging diverse communities including the Muslim community, are important.
