Job summary

RWE Supply & Trading runs a year-long Industrial Placements programme at its UK headquarters in Swindon. This Communications & Events placement offers hands-on experience, helping shape internal communication strategies, campaigns and event delivery while collaborating with experienced professionals across RWEST and the wider RWE Group.

You will develop content, support employee communications and gain exposure to a broad set of business topics and stakeholders in a leading European energy

Qualifications

• Penultimate year student in English, Communications, Media Studies, Event Management or similar degree; on track for a 2:1 or higher.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluent English.
• IT proficiency including the ability to use AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Enjoy creative thinking.
• Good collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable acting on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist in shaping and delivering creative internal communication initiatives.
• Support planning and delivery of events for employee experiences.
• Contribute to engaging campaigns and content development across channels.
• Gain exposure to RWEST and wider RWE Group topics, projects and stakeholders.
• Work closely with communications professionals to maximise impact of our work.
