Job summary

Riverlane in Cambridge, UK, is seeking a Communications Associate to join the newly established Communications function working across corporate communications, social media and stakeholder engagement. This mid-level, full-time role sits in the Marketing team and reports to the Head of Communications.

You will work with senior leaders and Riverlane's global communications agency to raise the company’s visibility among customers, partners, investors and government bodies in the UK, US and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience in communications, public relations, or related field.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Experience creating content for social media or publications.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills across stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to explain complex topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own Riverlane's LinkedIn editorial calendar and develop engaging content.
• Support executive social media activity and employee advocacy.
• Plan and deliver stakeholder events, including logistics and materials.
• Manage awards, rankings and industry recognition submissions.
• Support event speaker submissions and speaking opportunities.
• Maintain communications calendars, planning documents and trackers.
• Maintain communications assets, speaker bios and boilerplate.
• Assist Head of Communications with major company announcements.
