Job summary

Hamilton Lane seeks an Associate, External Communications to drive media relations and content across EMEA and APAC. You will draft press materials, manage inbound inquiries, and coordinate speaking opportunities for regional leadership in a fast-paced, global private markets environment.

You’ll work with regional leadership and corporate communications to protect and elevate the brand while collaborating with marketing to ensure consistent narratives across markets and platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, journalism, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures spanning EMEA and APAC.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain day-to-day relationships with regional media across EMEA and APAC.
• Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches and by-lined articles for regional audiences.
• Coordinate interview logistics and briefing materials for spokespeople.
• Support speaking opportunities and conference participation for regional spokespeople.
• Monitor daily media coverage, compile PR performance metrics for regional leadership.
