Job summary

Coventry College is seeking a Communication Support Worker (BSL signing required) to provide learning support to deaf learners as part of the ALS team within Learner Services.

You will need Level 2 Maths and English and a BSL Level 3 or higher qualification. We offer on-site parking, a strong LGPS pension, generous leave, ongoing PD, an Employee Assistance Programme and other staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 Maths and English.
• BSL Level 3 or higher qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning support to students with sensory needs.
• Sign for deaf learners and facilitate communication within lessons.
• Support learners in areas such as construction, motor vehicle and health and social care.
