Job summary

RGB Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Communal Services Cleaner in Eastleigh for a housing environment. The role involves cleaning all communal areas, entrances, stairwells, windows, corridors, bin stores and areas specified in the cleaning specification, with attention to health and safety.

This Temp-to-Perm position offers a 40-hour week over five days, and requires a satisfactory Basic DBS check. A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a similar role within a housing organisation/ cleaning position.
• Knowledge of practical and technical issues related to communal cleaning.
• Knowledge and skills in use of chemicals and mechanical cleaning devices.

Responsibilities

• Clean all communal areas including entrances, stairwells, windows, corridors and bin stores.
• Complete fire risk assessments, alarms and emergency lighting as scheduled for communal areas.
• Organise workload, ensure materials are available, and maintain records of materials, fuel, time and paperwork.
