Working within the Safran UK Purchasing team, the Commodity Manager will lead and facilitate the purchases of one (or more) commodities. You'll need to be a strategic thinker and enjoy forging relationships with a wide range of senior stakeholders (internal & external) to achieve commercially viable, sustainable partnerships for your commodity/commodities!

Job Requirements
What do I need to succeed?
- Knowledge of purchasing methodologies and processes
- Proven indirect purchasing experience
- Understanding of Industrial and Purchasing policies and contracts
- Experience with purchasing information systems
- CIPS Level 4+ qualifications or equivalent experience

What will I be doing?
You will collaborate with other Commodity Managers and the Purchasing team to lead and execute high-profile projects in a dynamic business environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and deploying purchasing policies for your commodities aligned with internal needs
- Achieving objectives related to cost savings and service levels
- Coordinating with other company buyers on group mandates
- Leading communication on purchasing policies
- Acting as an expert and primary contact for your commodity at SUK
- Building and maintaining a UK-wide network within your commodity
