Working in Manufacturing at JLR, you'll be the hands-on expert who brings innovation to life. You'll collaborate with a team of expert technicians and problem-solvers, utilizing cutting-edge tools, facilities, and processes to build era-defining vehicles that are known and loved worldwide. The main purpose of this role is to manage a team supporting all New Model Introductions into Solihull, overseeing material planning and supply to the plant.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your role includes ensuring clear communication and appropriate escalation of issues affecting production continuity through daily management of parts supply risks, and participating in plant start-up meetings and daily meetings.

You will also be responsible for:

1. Coordinating with Suppliers, Engineering, Programme, Plant Production, Purchasing, and STA to resolve supply issues impacting current and future plant performance and vehicle launches.
2. Managing UK, EU, and RoW supplier parts portfolios through direct and indirect team members in RFU.
3. Conducting data analysis and reporting via platforms supporting governance and central MP&L deployment.
4. Managing Senior Analysts to achieve zero loss and zero misfit objectives.
5. Managing team KPIs, including Objectives, 121’s, Absence & holidays coverage, Succession planning, and eliminating single points of failure.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

To succeed, you'll need:

• Experience managing a team.
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal) and initiative.
• Relevant experience in material planning and supply within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools like PPS/8D.
• Ability to write A3 reports, technical documents, and deliver presentations at various levels.
