BAUS is seeking a Committees Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support to the Governance and Committees Lead. The role focuses on coordinating elections, awards and committee meeting processes for BAUS Specialist Committees.
You will manage end-to-end elections, nominations, packs and communications, maintain records, and support governance activities, including CRM updates and meeting logistics in a hybrid London-based environment.
Location: Our office is in central London at the Royal College of Surgeons and we operate hybrid working arrangements (at least 1 day a week to be spent in the office).
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Salary: £33,000 per annum
Reports to: Governance and Committees Lead
Annual leave: 25 days annual, plus bank holidays and normally days off between Christmas and New Year

The position will provide high-quality administrative and operational support to the BAUS Governance and Committees Lead, with a particular focus on coordinating elections, awards and committee meeting processes for the six BAUS Specialist Committees.
You will administer the full cycle of Committee elections, appointments, awards, fellowships and bursaries, including maintaining schedules, preparing nomination and voting processes, collating applications, communicating outcomes and keeping accurate records.
The role will also provide practical meeting management and general administrative support, including preparing meeting packs, arranging logistics, maintaining contact lists and attendance records, supporting inbox management and ensuring governance information is accurate, accessible and up to date.
