Based from Scottish locations, you will spend about 50% of your working week in the office (Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness) with a hybrid pattern and a salary of £64,085–£76,581 plus car/car allowance and benefits.

Join SSEN Transmission as a Commissioning Support Engineer and play a key role in delivering major projects across Scotland that will help build a cleaner, more secure energy future.
You’ll be at the heart of bringing critical electricity infrastructure into service, commissioning substations, circuits and associated assets while ensuring every installation meets the highest technical, safety and compliance standards.

This includes electricity transmission and distribution networks, onshore and offshore wind farms, hydro-electric power and flexible thermal generation. Our investment plan will see SSE invest £33bn in critical electricity infrastructure to 2030.
SSEN Transmission own and operate the electricity transmission network across the north of Scotland. We transport electricity from where it is generated to where it is needed, ensuring a safe and reliable electricity supply for the communities we serve.
