SSEN Transmission, part of SSE plc, seeks a Commissioning Support Engineer to deliver major Scottish projects by bringing critical electricity infrastructure into service. You will commission substations and assets, ensuring safety and technical standards are met across the network.
You will chair panels and safety reviews, collaborate with stakeholders, and travel across SSE Transmission to support commissioning activities. A degree in electrical engineering and relevant experience are required.
Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations and you'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in the office - Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness
Salary: £64,085 - £76,581 + car /car allowance + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
