Progressive Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support testing, commissioning, and handover of Integrated Security Systems across National Grid infrastructure projects, including HVDC converter stations. You will work across CCTV, access control, intercom, perimeter detection, and related networks in live environments.

The role requires strong fault-finding, documentation, and safety-focused delivery, with national-site travel to multiple UK locations.

Formación

• Proven experience commissioning Integrated Security Systems within critical infrastructure environments.
• Experience on National Grid ISS or similar regulated sites is preferred.
• SAT/FAT experience and handover documentation experience.

Responsabilidades

• Commission and test Integrated Security Systems within critical infrastructure environments.
• Complete FAT, SAT, and system handovers.
• Configure, test, fault-find, and validate security platforms.
• Support commissioning activities across CCTV, access control, intercom, perimeter detection, and network infrastructure.
• Identify and resolve integration, software, and hardware issues.
• Produce commissioning documentation, test records, and handover packs.
• Work with project managers, installation teams, and client representatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and project specifications.
