SER Limited is seeking a Security Commissioning Engineer for UK-based work with national travel and overnight stays. You will commission CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems on major utility and infrastructure projects, ensuring performance and handover readiness.

The role requires experience with Gallagher and other leading systems, a full UK driving licence, and the flexibility to travel. You will troubleshoot on-site, support clients, and contribute to high-quality, reliable

Qualifications

• Proven experience commissioning enterprise-level security systems.
• In-depth knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.
• Familiarity with Gallagher and other top-tier systems is a strong advantage.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel and work away from home when required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Confident communication and a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Commission and occasionally install CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems across major utility and infrastructure sites.
• Configure and test systems with a focus on Gallagher, Galaxy, and Axis platforms.
• Identify and resolve issues during the commissioning phase to ensure smooth handover.
• Provide technical support and guidance to both internal teams and clients.
• Build strong client relationships while ensuring project deadlines and quality standards are met.
