Job summary

Green & Fortune Ltd. in London is inviting applications for a Commis Waiter to join Clerks House at London Museum, opening later this year. This is an Open Day recruitment event leading to a role supporting a 140-cover all-day bistro.

The position offers a friendly hospitality team and opportunities to learn on the floor from experienced colleagues. For the right candidate, enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are valued as highly as prior restaurant experience.

• What matters most is willingness to learn, enthusiasm for food and hospitality, and team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Get the restaurant ready, setting up tables, menus, napkins, crockery, cutlery and glassware.
• Keep service running smoothly, serving food and drinks, clearing tables and supporting waiters.
• Close down and reset, keeping dining areas clean, organised and ready for the next service.

Join us for our London Museum Open Day!

Apply for our Commis Waiter role and, if shortlisted, you’ll be invited to our Open Day at our Head Office on 30 October.

We're looking for a Commis Waiter to join Clerks House at London Museum, opening on 28 November in historic Smithfield. This new 140-cover all-day bistro will feature a menu developed in collaboration with acclaimed chef Robin Gill, celebrating seasonal produce, London's culinary history and the people behind our food.

What makes you the Commis Waiter?

Support the restaurant team from pre-opening to close.

• Get the restaurant ready, setting up tables, menus, napkins, crockery, cutlery and glassware.
• Keep service running smoothly, serving food and drinks, clearing tables and supporting waiters.
• Close down and reset, keeping dining areas clean, organised and ready for the next service.

What you'll bring as Commis Waiter?

Some restaurant experience is useful, but not essential. What matters most is your willingness to learn, enthusiasm for food and hospitality, and readiness to support the team.
