Responsabilidades

• Welcome guests with warmth and sincerity, creating a refined atmosphere.
• Support seamless service, delivering food, beverages and thoughtful touches.
• Develop knowledge of menus, ingredients, wines and beverages to answer questions and share recommendations.
• Prepare tables and maintain service stations with immaculate presentation.
• Work closely with Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Learn and refine service skills, deepening knowledge of food and hospitality.
• Uphold high standards of personal presentation, cleanliness and safety.
• Share knowledge and foster a team culture of pride and camaraderie.
• Contribute ideas as we shape Cambridge House’s dining rituals from opening day.

Job Description

As a Commis Waiter at Cambridge House, you will play an important role in creating memorable dining experiences through thoughtful preparation, attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality. From ensuring tables are beautifully presented to supporting the seamless flow of service, you will take pride in the small details that make every experience feel special. Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests with warmth and sincerity, creating an atmosphere that feels effortlessly refined.
• Support seamless service throughout the guest journey, delivering food, beverages and thoughtful touches with care and precision.
• Develop your knowledge of our menus, ingredients, wines and beverages, building the confidence to answer guest questions and share recommendations.
• Prepare tables, maintain immaculate service stations and ensure every detail is beautifully presented.
• Work closely with the Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to deliver a smooth, memorable dining experience.
• Embrace every opportunity to learn, refine your service skills and deepen your knowledge of food, beverage and hospitality.
• Uphold exceptional standards of personal presentation, cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or luxury hospitality environment.

• You are curious about food, wine and beverages, and excited to learn the stories, techniques and traditions that sit behind them.
• You communicate openly, listen carefully and enjoy being part of a team that works together towards a shared goal.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, as required.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
