Job summary

Liverpool Football Club is seeking a committed Commis Chef to join the culinary team at Anfield Stadium. You will support senior chefs and help deliver high-quality food on matchdays and during events, gaining experience in a fast-paced stadium environment.

We welcome individuals at early stages of their chef career who are eager to learn, develop skills, and contribute to outstanding food experiences for fans and VIP guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen is desirable.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong team-player mindset with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of food to high standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and portion control guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and safety in your section.
• Follow all food safety, allergen and hygiene procedures.
• Support stock rotation and minimise waste per guidelines.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth service across areas.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn from senior chefs.

We are looking for Commis Chefs to join the team at Liverpool FC.

As a Commis Chef, you will support our senior chefs in delivering high-quality food across our stadium on a matchday and during events. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the early stages of their chef career who is eager to learn, develop their skills, and gain experience within a fast-paced stadium environment.

What will you be doing?

As part of our culinary brigade, you will play a vital role in helping deliver exceptional food experiences to supporters, guests, and VIP clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation and cooking of food to the highest standards.
• Ensuring all food is prepared in line with recipes, portion control guidelines, and presentation standards.
• Maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organisation, and safety within your section
• Following all food safety, allergen, and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Supporting stock rotation and minimising waste in line with company guidelines
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service across all areas.
• Demonstrating a positive attitude and willingness to learn from senior chefs

Who are we looking for?

• Some previous experience in a professional kitchen environment (placement, apprenticeship, or similar desirable).
• A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and remain calm under pressure.
• A strong team-player mindset with a positive, proactive attitude.
