Job summary

Liverpool FC is seeking a Commis Chef to support our senior chefs on matchdays and events at Anfield Stadium. This is an entry-level role perfect for someone starting a culinary career who wants to learn in a fast-paced stadium environment.

You will assist with preparation and cooking, follow recipes and portion controls, ensure cleanliness and food safety, and contribute to a positive team culture. The role offers a full-time schedule with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen is desirable.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate required.

Job description

We are looking for Commis Chefs to join the team at Liverpool FC. As a Commis Chef, you will support our senior chefs in delivering high-quality food across our stadium on a matchday and during events. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the early stages of their chef career who is eager to learn, develop their skills, and gain experience within a fast-paced stadium environment.

What will you be doing?

• Assisting in the preparation and cooking of food to the highest standards.


• Ensuring all food is prepared in line with recipes, portion control guidelines, and presentation standards.


• Maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organisation, and safety within your section


• Following all food safety, allergen, and hygiene procedures at all times.


• Supporting stock rotation and minimising waste in line with company guidelines


• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service across all areas.


• Demonstrating a positive attitude and willingness to learn from senior chefs

Who are we looking for?

• Some previous experience in a professional kitchen environment (placement, apprenticeship, or similar desirable).


• A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and remain calm under pressure.


• A strong team-player mindset with a positive, proactive attitude.


• Enthusiasm for developing skills
