Job summary

Aramark UK in Swindon is seeking a Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. This permanent, full-time role offers 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00–14:30, and a welcoming environment that supports training and career growth.

You will help prepare and present dishes, assist with daily prep and service, maintain high food hygiene standards, and support stock rotation. We provide uniform, free on-site parking, meals on shift, plus access to our Benefits app and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• Understanding of food safety and health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and assisting with the presentation of dishes.
• Supporting the kitchen team with daily food preparation and service.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards with cleaning.
• Assisting with stock rotation and minimising waste.
• Working with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth operation.
• Assisting the Head Chef.
