Job summary

Eton College is seeking a Commis Chef to support the kitchen team in preparing, cooking and serving meals for pupils and staff. The role covers core feeding services, hospitality events and term-time catering while upholding high standards of food safety and customer service.

Ideal candidates have kitchen experience, a valid Food Safety certificate, and an NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation and Cookery or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience in a similar role
• NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation and Cookery or equivalent
• Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve food as delegated by senior chefs
• Ensure high standards of food quality, safety and presentation
• Assist with events and term-time catering and other duties as required
