The Gleneagles Hotel, Auchterarder, is seeking a creative Commis Chef, Pastry, to join our Pastry Culinary team. You’ll learn on the job, contribute to producing the most creative and inspiring pastry items, and help ensure smooth service with high food hygiene standards.

We offer flexible working options, a generous benefits package, and a target total package of about £38,655 per year (base £33,655 plus ~£5,000 in gratuities) for a 46-hour contract.

We are currently seeking a creative, ambitious and curious Commis Chef, Pastry, to join our Pastry Culinary team.

• You’ll be learning lots on the job, and as you gain more experience, responsibility will come with this
• Playing a key part in ensuring our Pastry kitchen continues to excel in producing the most creative, innovative and inspirational items
• Making sure our operation runs without hitch, orders and deliveries are coming and going as needed, our service is smooth and our food hygiene standards are sky‑high
• Bringing delicious, creative and bespoke flavours and creations to our guests’ tables; you’ll become an asset to your team, determined to grab every opportunity and you have a huge appetite to learn from the best in the business
• Maintaining a can‑do and problem‑solving attitude, you have a fantastic eye for the precision required in Pastry
• Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
