Job summary

Searcys is opening a spectacular Knightsbridge venue and seeks a motivated Commis Chef to join the opening team. You will support the Sous/Head Chef, prep high-quality dishes and help deliver memorable dining experiences at a luxury level.

You will learn from senior chefs, contribute to both daily operations and special events, and benefit from generous staff perks including discounts, pension, and generous annual leave.

Qualifications

• Prepare food to a high standard in any area required by the senior chefs.
• Assist in extra functions and events.
• Maintain high service levels across dining areas.
• Manage client dining, restaurant/cafe, hospitality and conference food offers when requested by senior chefs.
• Assist in training of junior staff.
• Ensure smooth running of daily operations.
• Adhere to Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements as described in policy.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sous/Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Learn from senior brigade members to develop skills.
