Qualifications

• Genuine interest in cooking and desire to learn in a professional kitchen.
• Some previous kitchen experience is a plus, but learning is essential.
• Understanding of basic food prep techniques and cleanliness focus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take direction well.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing ingredients for dishes, from chopping to marinating.
• Work with senior chefs to refine techniques across sections.
• Maintain a clean workstation and follow hygiene standards.
• Help with kitchen inventory and monitor stock levels.
• Carry out basic cooking tasks including sauces, grilling and plating.
• Participate in regular cleaning duties to keep equipment spotless.
• Learn and adapt to procedures to contribute to a well-organised team.
