The Reserve, located within Chester Zoo, is seeking a Commis Chef to join a passionate culinary team. You will assist in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes across dining experiences while growing your skills in a dynamic, supportive environment that values excellence and creativity.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the preparation, cooking and presentation of food under senior chefs
• Ensure preparation is completed efficiently and to the highest standard
• Follow recipes and maintain consistency and quality
• Support all kitchen sections as required
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation, adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
• Take responsibility for storage and handling of ingredients and equipment
• Learn and develop culinary skills from senior chefs
• Support sustainability and minimisation of food waste across the kitchen
• Assist in stock rotation and control to ensure freshness and reduce waste
• Follow health and safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment
• Ensure training modules are fully completed
