Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Commis Chef to join our pub kitchen team in a flexible, supportive role. You will prep, season and help bring our pub menu to life, learning the kitchen areas and procedures while working alongside a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll be involved in daily prep, assisting in the running of the kitchen and delivering hot, tasty dishes to spec. A pathway to Sous Chef is available through our internal careers DNA framework.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP.
• Know or be willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures.
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Help to support the kitchen team with the day to day running of the kitchen.
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec each and every time.

Responsibilities

• Prep, create and bring our pub menu to life.
• Own a section of the kitchen and manage day-to-day operations.
• Learn new prepping skills and support the kitchen team.
