Job summary

Hilton is seeking a Commis Chef to join our Hotels team in a fast-paced kitchen. You will prepare high-quality dishes, manage guest orders, and support complex recipes across stations while upholding our standards of quality and presentation.

You will inspect plates before service, maintain a clean workspace, and assist with inventory and supply requisitions, all while complying with health, safety, and alcohol guidelines to ensure guest and team member well-being.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality dishes according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Manage guest orders efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, handle complex recipes, oversee stations, execution and quality control
• Inspect all preparations and dishes ahead of serving to ensure quality and presentation
• Keep food service stations stocked and sanitary following proper food handling and safety protocols
• Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items as needed
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations
