Job summary

The Oystercatcher is a contemporary bar and restaurant with comfy accommodation overlooking Polzeath Beach. Join our busy kitchen in Cornwall as a Commis chef, working in a fast-paced environment to prepare quality dishes using locally sourced produce.

As a Commis Chef you will assist in food preparation, follow procedures, and ensure each dish meets exact specifications. We offer tips, discounts, training, and flexible, family-friendly working.

The Oystercatcher is a contemporary bar and restaurant with comfy accommodation that enjoys an enviable outlook over Polzeath Beach and out to sea, from both inside and across its spectacular al fresco space.

You'll be working at a scenic pub that's popular among families, couples, and surfers seeking a delicious bite to eat following a session on the waves or a day out exploring Cornwall's dramatic north coast.

Are you an enthusiastic Commis chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and you'll be working alongside passionate people, cooking with locally sourced produce to provide quality food that delights our guests. As a commis chef you will be assisting in the preparation of food, working as part of the team ensuring the correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met.
