Job summary

JW Lees in Rochdale invites applications for a Commis Chef to join our busy kitchen team. You’ll help keep the kitchen running smoothly, assist with basic prep and maintain high cleanliness standards during and after service.

You’ll also work with the team to uphold Health & Safety best practices and quality control, while seizing opportunities to learn and progress within our kitchen. A friendly, supportive environment and development opportunities await.

Responsibilities

• You'll play a main part in keeping the kitchen running efficiently and spotlessly clean during and after service
• You'll be responsible for cleaning utensils and dishes along with general kitchen duties and on occasion basic food and ingredients preparation
• Be conscious of Health & Safety in the Kitchen, working with the team to achieve and maintain 5* Scores on the doors
• Be keen to learn new skills and progress
