Richmond Hill Hotel in London’s Richmond area is seeking a Commis Chef to join our enthusiastic team. You’ll gain hands-on experience across breakfast and lunch services, with support from experienced chefs and clear opportunities to progress.

What will I be responsible for?

This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring chef who is passionate about hospitality and keen to develop their career. You'll gain hands-on experience across breakfast and lunch operations, receive support from experienced chefs, and have genuine opportunities to grow and progress within Richmond Hill Hotel.

As a Commis Chef you will play an important role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences across our breakfast and lunch services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the preparation and service of breakfast and lunch dishes to the highest standards.
• Ensuring all food is prepared, presented and served in line with company standards and recipes.
• Supporting the kitchen team with daily mise en place and food preparation.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Monitoring stock levels and helping to minimise waste.
• Working closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Learning from our experienced Chef de Parties and senior chefs to develop your culinary skills and knowledge.
• Contributing ideas and demonstrating a positive, flexible attitude to support the success of the kitchen.
