Job summary

Manpower Recruitment are looking for a Commis Chef for an established College in Oxford City Centre. The role is Permanent, offering a 40-hour week across any 5 from 7 days, including weekends and Bank holidays.

Shift Start times: Earliest 6.30am-2.30pm; Lates 12.30pm-8.30pm, always subject to operational requirements. The successful candidate will begin at a beginner level in the kitchen brigade and will gain through formal training in the first couple of years.

• Beginner level in kitchen brigade with training to develop skills.

My Client is looking someone who may not yet have commercial chefing experience, this role is the beginner level of the kitchen brigade and therefore involves a lot of food preparation. However, as individuals become more confident, opportunities are presented for more independent cooking. However, the ideal candidate will be someone who is looking for professional development in our professional and high standard kitchen. We will seek to put the successful candidate through further formal training within the first couple of years.
