What will I be doing as a Commis Chef?

  • Working within a team of 33 chefs
  • Participating in regular training
  • Ensuring consistent, high-quality food production in line with Hilton standards
  • Performing tasks efficiently and promptly
  • Supporting the Kitchen brigade
  • Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes according to company guidelines
  • Keeping all work areas clean, tidy, and free from cross-contamination
  • Preparing mise-en-place for relevant menus
  • Assisting other departments as needed and maintaining good working relationships

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef
  • A positive attitude and good communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Proven ability to work in a team and follow instructions
  • A passion to learn and succeed in a culinary/hospitality career
  • A passion for food and the culinary arts
