Job summary

The Ritz London is seeking a Commis Chef to join the Kitchen Brigade. The role involves assisting the Chef De Partie with daily food preparation and maintaining the highest standards.

You will need to be familiar with all menus, especially your section's recipes and quantities, and support the team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Ideal candidates will have a passion for cooking, the ability to work under pressure, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Culinary degrees or qualifications desirable
• A passion for food and cooking
• Eager to develop culinary skills
• Relevant experience in a five-star or fine dining property desirable
• Ability to work under pressure with strong organisational skills
• Good command of the English language
• Polite and professional attitude to guests

Our Commis Chef will be committed toassisting the Chef De Parties in daily preparation of service of food, ensuringthat the highest standards are maintained at all times. As a Commis Chef,responsibilities also include being fully conversant in all menus, inparticular items which are the responsibility of your section and their recipesand quantities.

ENTRYREQUIREMENTS

• Culinarydegrees or qualifications desirable
• A passion forfood and cooking
• An eagernessto develop your culinary skills
• Relevantexperience in a Five-star or fine dining property is desirable
• Possess theability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
