Valor Hospitality Careers - UK is seeking a talented Commis Chef for voco Zeal Exeter Science Park. You'll work in a fast-paced kitchen, stay calm under pressure, and help deliver dining experiences that leave guests wanting more.

We offer nationally recognised apprenticeships, brand training, and ongoing development programs. The hotel features 142 rooms, a restaurant and bar, and is 100% electric with EV charging.

£12.71 per hour. Occasional Worker Contract

We're looking for a talented Commis Chef who's passionate about consistently delivering our brand standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The Role

You'll work in a clean, efficient and organised way, staying calm under pressure and bringing genuine team spirit to every shift. Working closely with our kitchen team, you'll help deliver dining experiences that leave guests yearning for more.

Working Hours

We're open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, so we need team members who can work flexibly across a range of shifts and days. We're generally busiest in the evenings and at weekends, but shift patterns and contracted hours can all be discussed at interview.

This premium 4-star hotel features 142 stylish bedrooms, a restaurant and bar showcasing local produce, a mini gym, gardens and versatile meeting space. The hotel is 100% electric, with a car park offering 12 EV charging points.
