Job summary

The Londoner is recruiting a Commis Chef to join a high-calibre culinary team in the heart of Leicester Square. You will prepare dishes to the highest standard, following recipes closely and assisting in quality control across kitchen sections.

You will be motivated to develop new techniques under senior chefs, ensure mise en place is timely, and help maintain consistent daily output. Competitive salary and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Passion for food and willingness to learn cooking techniques.
• Hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate.
• Confident in communicating with other chefs and building team rapport.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality dishes following recipes precisely and assist in quality control across kitchen sections.
• Ensure mise en place is ready and quantities are sufficient for the day ahead.
• Support senior kitchen staff at all times.
• Learn from senior chefs and develop culinary skills.

We are currently recruiting for a Commis Chef at The Londoner Hotel.

Overview

• An amazing opportunity to join the culinary team at The Londoner Hotel.
• You will ensure that the highest quality of food is prepared and served, following all recipes precisely and assisting in overall quality control across the kitchen and sections as required.
• You will be motivated and keen to learn new culinary skills from the senior chefs.
• . You will ensure that all mis enplace is done timely and that there is a sufficient quantity for the day ahead.
• You will support senior members of the kitchen brigade at all times.

About You

• Be passionate about food and keen to learn and develop new cooking techniques.
• Hold a level 2 food hygiene certificate.
• You will have the confidence to communicate with other chefs and build rapport amongst the team.
