The Role:
- Prepare dishes timely and to standard
- Know the menu of the day and your responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene from storage to service
- Ensure HACCP and COSHH compliance in all food and beverage outlets
- Minimize waste through proper control methods
- Keep kitchen equipment in working order and report issues
- Be familiar with hotel products and organization
- Ensure the department is prepared for business
- Follow company control procedures for audits
- Store food items properly and adhere to delivery protocols
- Be energy efficient by turning off unused equipment and lights
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and presentation
- Assist with stock, order, and audit procedures
