Job summary

Champneys, the luxury wellness brand, seeks a kitchen assistant to support our chefs with food preparation and to ensure a premium dining experience for guests at our Buxton site.

You will assist across breakfast, lunch and dinner, helping to maintain hygiene, quality, and smooth service while working closely with other departments to deliver outstanding meals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present hot and cold items to Champneys standards
• Assist across Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner service
• Maintain clean, tidy work areas and observe food handling regulations
• Support Kitchen-Department communications across teams

Job description

Your main responsibility will be to support our chefs with food preparation to ensure the smooth running of service and provide a positive dining experience to our guests.

Some of the responsibilities include;

• Preparing and presenting all hot and cold food items from the main kitchen to the agreed Champneys standards.
• To support all meal periods; Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
• To gain a working knowledge of the Champneys Healthy Eating Philosophy.
• Maintain a high standard of work at all times.
• To keep all kitchen and work areas clean and tidy at all times and observing all food handling regulations and requirements.
• Maintain clear communication between the Kitchen and other Departments.
