Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Commis Chef to join our pub kitchen. You’ll prep, learn our menu, and own a section of the kitchen. This role offers growth opportunities toward Sous Chef as you develop your skills and career.

We look for someone with a passion for great food, ability to work in a team, and a flexible, part-time schedule to fit around studies or family commitments. Your hard work will be rewarded with a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP.
• Willingness to learn about kitchen areas and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen with a team.
• Support for day-to-day kitchen operations and cooking to spec.

Responsibilities

• Prep and bring the pub menu to life.
• Help the kitchen team with day-to-day running.
• Deliver great hot food to spec every time.
• Learn and grow within our internal career pathway.

As Commis Chef:
