St Austell Brewery is seeking a dedicated Commis Chef for their popular coastal pub in Brixham. This part-time role offers hands-on experience in a busy kitchen, preparing dishes with locally sourced produce and joining a team that delivers quality, consistent meals for locals and visitors alike.

You will assist in food preparation, work with the team to follow procedures, and ensure each dish meets its specifications in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience as a commis chef in a fast-paced environment.
• Assisting in food preparation and following dish specifications.
• Well organised and adaptable with a passion for quality food.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of dishes and maintain kitchen mise en place.
• Work as part of the kitchen team to ensure correct procedures are followed.

You’ll be working at a popular, contemporary pub that attracts locals and tourists alike throughout the year. Overlooking one of the UK’s largest fishing fleets, this scenic spot is no stranger to stunning Tall Ships and a wealth of fascinating maritime activity.

Part time opportunity! Are you an enthusiastic Commis chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and you’ll be working alongside passionate people, cooking with locally sourced produce to provide quality food that delights our guests. As a commis chef you will be assisting in the preparation of food, working as part of the team ensuring the correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met.
