Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present visually appealing and flavorful meals, ensuring high standards and memorable guest experiences.
• Measure and prepare the correct amount of food as directed, minimizing wastage.
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain accurate record-keeping.
• Understand menu items, ingredients, allergens, and provenance to answer guest and colleague inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Cook, Commis Chef, Kitchen Porter, or similar role, preferably in a branded hotel or restaurant.
• Knowledge of food safety standards.
• Strong administrative skills for health, safety, and hygiene tasks.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, approachable, and able to build rapport with team members.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
