Job summary

A local pub in Blackburn is looking for a Commis Chef to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for prepping and creating dishes for the pub menu while working within a dynamic kitchen environment. This position offers the opportunity for career growth through a Chef Development Programme aimed at becoming a Sous Chef. Candidates should have a passion for food, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or as a Kitchen Porter.
• Willingness to learn about kitchen areas and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Prep, create and bring the pub menu to life.
• Support the kitchen team with day-to-day operations.
• Deliver great, hot food to specifications.
