Key Responsibilities of the Commis Chef:

1. Support the smooth running of the kitchen department, ensuring all aspects of the guest dining experience are delivered to the highest standards.
2. Work as part of a team to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort, providing positive and timely responses to inquiries and resolving problems.
3. Take responsibility for assigned duties and tasks, ensuring they are completed in a timely and professional manner.
4. Contribute to departmental plans and objectives, achieving hotel initiatives and targets.
5. Collaborate with your supervisor to control costs and inventory, and maintain productivity and performance levels.
6. Build and maintain effective working relationships while promoting the company culture and values.
7. Ensure adherence to all legislation, planning, delivering, and documenting due diligence requirements and best practices for internal and external audits, with follow-up as needed.

Requirements of the Commis Chef:

1. Experience in kitchen beneficial but not essential.
2. Hands-on approach with a can-do work style.
3. Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
4. Ability to find creative solutions and take ownership of duties and tasks.
5. Personal integrity and the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence.
6. Experience working with IT systems on various platforms.
7. Strong communication skills.
