Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a Commercial Vehicle Technician in Middlesbrough to service a diverse fleet including 3.5-tonne vans, flatbeds, heavy curtainsiders and tractor units.

The role offers a basic salary up to £41,769 with two-week shift rotation, break-down attendance opportunities and clear development within a well-established commercial vehicle specialist.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 vehicle maintenance qualification.
• Experience working as an HGV Technician or in a commercial vehicle environment.
• An MOT licence is desirable but not essential.
• Own tools and full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work as part of a team with a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and repairing vehicles to DVSA standards.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT testing and presenting them for test.
• Diagnosing faults using specialist diagnostic equipment.
• Completing mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Attending breakdowns and completing off-site repairs when required.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
• Supporting customers by helping to keep their vehicles on the road.

We are recruiting a Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our established commercial vehicle business in Middlesbrough. This is an excellent Commercial Vehicle Technician opportunity to work on a diverse range of vehicles, including 3.5-tonne vans, flatbeds, heavy curtainsiders and tractor units.
