Arch Europe Insurance Services Ltd in Bristol is expanding its branch and seeking a talented commercial underwriter to join our team. This role focuses on achieving income and profit objectives by delivering an efficient case underwriting service to brokers.

You’ll contribute to on-site broker development and support the regional account in line with our strategy, plan and personal objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial insurance underwriting.
• Experience in renewals/existing business underwriting is preferred.
• Proven ability to build and maintain broker relationships.
• Strong underwriting track record.
• Demonstrated ability to price risk and manage to targets.

Responsabilidades

• Service existing business while underwriting within risk selection, appetite, and authority.
• Follow the 4 Call Process to maximise opportunities.
• Achieve bottom line, top line, and expense targets by managing to the region's KPIs.
• Enhance Arch’s local presence by building strong relationships with brokers and staff.
• Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to support conversion and broker relationships.
• Share technical and market intelligence with the Regional Director and wider team.
• Collaborate with claims and survey teams when needed.
