Our client is a Fintech in the securities finance space established over 20 years ago, that is now going through a sustained period of growth. With investment backing and in the midst of global expansion, they are now searching for a Commercial/Tech lawyer, who is ideally available at short notice, to join the team for a 12-month maternity cover role.

If the growth of the company continues, this role could become permanent after the initial term.

The role will report directly to the General Counsel, and will involve:

• Acting as a first point-of-contact for day-to-day legal advice to the business, especially with respect to the Technology, Information Security and Sales departments;
• Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts with vendors and collaboration partners;
• Assisting the GC with monthly board packs and ad hoc PE investor updates;
• Advising the business of the impact of current/future regulatory developments.
